Biography

Soprano Megan Warburton is captivating audiences with her dazzling high notes and energetic storytelling. She recently sang the role of Johanna in Sweeney Todd with Holy City Arts & Lyric Opera in Charleston, South Carolina. Other recent engagements include, the Soprano Soloist in Carmina Burana with the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra in Wichita Falls, Texas, Kay in the contemporary opera The Stranger’s Tale and Laurie in a concert edition of The Tender Land with First Coast Opera, and several concerts with Charleston Opera Theatre. Other highlights include Sophie in Werther, La Feé in Cendrillon, and Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte at the University of Michigan, and Johanna (cover) in Sweeney Todd with Opera Saratoga.
